The Asian Wall Street Journal Announces Finalists for 5th Young Inventors Awards 2004 |

The Asian Wall Street Journal, in association with Hewlett-Packard, has short-listed 12 finalists in its 5th Young Inventors Awards 2004. The awards aim to encourage and honor research and innovation among students in the Asia-Pacific region. The short list comes from a pool of 87 entries sent in by students from universities and other tertiary institutions throughout the region. This year's entries ranged from big to nanoscale, and covered a variety of scientific and engineering disciplines including nanotechnology, medicine, molecular biology, electrical and electronic engineering, computing, and even industrial design.
